Breaking News

April 23 9:35pm - Today our people in Kyela battled rain and flood waters to bring food to 40 family that are sheltering in schools. There are 160 families in all, so anyone who would like to contribute to our tiny efforts would be most welcome. Instead of having meetings to discuss what we can do, we are sending money to the couragous people on the ground who know where the greatest needs are. Thank you Adam, Daudi and Samora for your courage and selflessness.

April 23rd 9:45pm - Adam just texted... sorry I have been busy. Water is very high. The people say Thank You to KidzCare, because you have helped to save them. Noone has sent any support at all.

April 23rd 9:43pm - ...and 5 minutes later... the new teacher is coming but the car is stuck in the water so I am trying to get a motorbike to come and rescue her. Bless this dear man!

April 24th 7:15pm - Any and all help is most welcome at this stage. 10 dollars will help feed a family for several days.

Children's home Tanzania

There are currently 21 children in the home from throughout Tanzania. They live, learn, grow, and mature together in Christ. They share three meals a day together. The children attend the Kerege preschool on the property. Once they are old enough, they are sent to Kerege primary and secondary school in the village.

Tanzanian Preschools

Each pre-school is set up on a three-year curriculum, during which time the children are taught Swahili, as at home they speak their local dialect. They also learn basic English, letters, and numbers. The children learn through song, dance, visual aids, group activities, and writing exercises led by the teachers.

Tanzanian child nutrition

As one of the poorest countries in the world, children in Tanzania are not guaranteed a good, enriching meal everyday. The nutrition program was started to help boost class participation and educational enrichment. Uji is a maize-based porridge mixed with milk for a high protein meal.

Medical for Tanzanian children

Giving a child a chance to live life without physical restriction is one of the most amazing things to see. The KidzCare-CCBRT rehabilitation project focuses on children with physical disabilities that are brought to the attention of members of the KidzCare team.
